Push In Fittings – Male Elbow

DC carries only high quality industrial grade pneumatic “push-in” fittings that work perfectly with most pneumatic setups.  These are the exact same fittings we rely on for all of our animations.

In most haunt applications elbow fittings are used on the cylinder and there is a “NPT” size (threads) and a tubing size.

For tubing, the most common is 1/4″ and is the industry standard.   Tubing is measured by O.D. (Outside dimension) so please confirm the tubings dimension and the NPT Thread size prior to placing an order.  We are happy to assist if you have questions – just shoot us an email.

Common Thread sizes:

• 10-32″ are very small and we only use them for our animated skull’s jaw cylinder.
• 1/8″ NPT is common on all 3/4-1.5″ bore cylinders.
• 1/4″ NPT is common on all 1.75″ 2.5″ bore cylinders
• 3/8″ NPT is common on large valves and air bags
• 1/2″ NPT is less common, however they are commonly used on large air systems that supply air from storage tanks to large reservoirs.
